From(1),
y-x/3+1=0.
y=x/3-1..(3)
Sub(3) into (2)
5x-6(x/3-1)-2=0
5x-2x+6-2=0
3x=-4
x=-4/3
Sub x=-4/3 into (1)
y-(-4/3)/3+1=0
y+4/9+1=0
y=-13/9
∴The solutions are x=-4/3, y=-13/9
