HSBC will contact the issuer whether he could pay in money to cover up the clearing cheque day after the cheques is being paid in. If not, the cheque will be bounced.
Hang Seng Bank will contact the account holder that the cheque deposited by him in this account has been rejected. The account holder has to go to Hang Seng Bank the next day to collect the returned cheque for his further action.
