a) The side of the cube = 3√125
= 5m
The total suface area = 5 × 5 ×6
= 150m2
∴ The total suface area is 150m2.
b) Litre of paint needed to paint the box = 150 ÷ 30
= 5 L
volume of paint needed to paint the box = 5 × 1000 ÷ 100 ÷ 100
= 0.5 m3
∴ The volume of paint needed to paint the box is 0.5 m3.
= 5m
The total suface area = 5 × 5 ×6
= 150m2
∴ The total suface area is 150m2.
b) Litre of paint needed to paint the box = 150 ÷ 30
= 5 L
volume of paint needed to paint the box = 5 × 1000 ÷ 100 ÷ 100
= 0.5 m3
∴ The volume of paint needed to paint the box is 0.5 m3.
