✔ 最佳答案
9x - 12y = - 72
16x + 12y = 172-----ADD

25x = 100
x = 4

16 + 3y = 43
3y = 27
y = 9

x = 4 , y = 9

3x - 4y = -24 *3
=> 9x - 12y = - 72 -----------------1
4x +3y= 43 *4
=> 16x + 12 y = 172 ---------------2
2 +1
25x=100
=> x=4

y=use original equations and 4(4)+3y=43 => y=9

3x-4y= -24 --- (1)
4x+3y= 43 --- (2)

multiple (1) by 4 and (2) by 3

12x-16y=-96 --- (3)
12x+9y=129 --- (4)

then do (4)-(3) (to eliminate the x)

25y=225
y=9

sub into (2)

4x+3(9)= 43
4x+27=43
4x=16
x=4

4(3x-4y= -24)
3(4x+3y)=43

12x-16y= -96
-12x + 9y=129
____________
-25y =225

-y=9

3x-4(-9)=-24
3x=12
x=4

If you multiply the top equation by 4 you get 12x +16y = 28 (1). Multiply the bottom equation by 3 and you get 12x - 6y = 72 (2) Subtract (2) from (1) gives 22y = -44. So y = 2. However, the answer to your question is B because you can multiply the bottom equation by either 3, as I did, or -3, in which case you would add the 2 new equations to eliminate x and solve for y.

3x - 4y = -24
3x = -24 + 4y
x = (-24 + 4y)/3

4x + 3y = 43
4[(-24 + 4y)/3] + 3y = 43
(-96 + 16y)/3 + 3y = 43
3[(-96 + 16y)/3 + 3y] = 3(43)
-96 + 16y + 9y = 129
25y = 129 + 96
25y = 225
y = 225/25
y = 9

3x - 4y = -24
3x - 36 = -24
3x = -24 + 36
3x = 12
x = 12/3
x = 4

i guess u simply need to multiply equation 1 by 3 and 2 by 4....
you'll get then simply eliminate the common term in both find the value of x then substitute the value in any equation and find the answer of other unknow......

3x-4y= -24 --- (1)
4x+3y= 43 --- (2)

Multiply (1) by 3 and (2) by by 4

(1) will become 9x-12y= -72 --- (3)
(2) will become 16x+12y= 172 --- (4)

(3) + (4),

25x = 100
x = 4

if x=4, 3(4)-4y= -24
-4y = -36
y = 9

Ans: x=4, y=9

3x-4y=-24=equ 1
4x+3y=43=equ 2
multiplying 1 with 4 and 2 with 3 we get
12x-16y=-96=equa 3
12x+9y=129=equation4
subtracting 4 from 3 we get
-25y=-225
this implies y=9
and substituting the value of y in 1 we get
3x-4(9)=-24
3x-36=-24
3x=12
x=4

3x - 4y = -24
12x -16y = -96---(1)

4x + 3y = 43
12x + 9y = 129--- (2)

(2)-(1)
25 y = 225
y =9
sub y = 9 back into any one equation and solve :)
