Many people use aluminium pots for cooking because :
- Aluminium is a good heat conductor.
- The corrosion resistance of aluminium is high.
- Aluminium has a low density, and it can be easier to handle than a metal with high density.

Aluminium can be dissolves in acids, but the rate is very slow. Therefore, it spends a long time for acidic food to damage an aluminium pot.
