因為1,2,3題係用the man(he),John(he),the merchant(he/she)而he,she,it又係三身單數會加 s
第四題係the teacher and the student(they)
they,you,we.......係唔加 s
因為有兩個人就唔洗加 s 啦

第三人身和單數的現在式動詞就要加s或es或ies
1. teach----teaches------(man 是單數)
2. study----studies-------(john )
3. buy------buys (y 的前字母是u，所以y不要轉為ies)
第一人身及我們(覆數)現在式動詞是不變的(不加s)
4. read-----read(The teacher and The student 是覆數)
write---write

因為Q1-Q3(The merchant,John,The man )是單詞(singular),所以要加[s]o

因為問題 1-3 的名詞是個體(單數).
The man - 指 1個男人
John-係一個人名
The merchant - 指一個買家
但問題4, The teacher and the student - 指一個老師同一個學生, 共2人, 因此並非一個單人個體. 所以不用加 s.
