I have some English problems of adverb grammar.....

1.我們見面的時間相當多！
(a) We meet fairly often.
(b) We often meet fairly.
只可以是(a)，因為fairly是個adverb，用來形容often，所以要放在often之前。

2. (a) She even helped us to do propaganda work among women.
(b) Even she helped us to do propaganda work among women.
兩句都可以。第一句是說「她做了很多事，還幫我們……」，第二句是「有很多人幫我們，就算連她也來幫我們……」。

3. (a) A child can even understand the book.
(b) Even a child can understand the book.
文法上(a)沒錯，但意思則不通：「一個孩子還能夠懂得……」。第二句指「連一個孩子也能明白……」。

4. (a) This made her feel even more confident.
(b) Even this made her feel more confident.
兩句皆可。第一句指這令也更有自信，而第二句指就連這也令她感史更自信。

5. (a) There are spots even on the sun.
(b) Even there are sports on the sun.
(a)可以，(b)不行。

6. (a) I felt terribly embarrassed.
(b) I felt embarrassed terribly.
跟1一樣，terribly是用來形容embarassed。

7. (a) The old man is still physically fit, but mentally rather confused.
(b) Physically, the old man is still fit, but mentally rather confused.
兩句都可以；第二句是強調「體能上」。

1.(a) We meet fairly often.
*1 is easy because the other option makes no sense at all.

2.(a) She even helped us to do propaganda work among women.

3 (b) Even a child can understand the book.

4. (a) This made her feel even more confident.
*2-4 I personally don't know how to explain it, but you'll get accustomed to it sooner or later.

5. (a) There are sports even on the sun.
*Weird options.

6. (a) I felt terribly embarrassed.
*Once again, the other one is simply grammatically incorrect.

7. (a) The old man is still physically fit, but mentally rather confused.
* I think 7 should be "The old man is still physically fit, but rather confused mentally." Just my input here.
