1. the surface tension of water cannot support the weight of iron dishwhen it is dropped perpendicularly to the water.
2. if the density of cubes are less than that of water. it will float.
otherwise, it will sink.
3. good thermometer should sensitive to temperature change
and have uniform rising or lowering of liquid column .
