巴 士 王 國
九 巴 於 一 九 三 三 年 正 式 成 立 ，獲 得 開 辦 九 龍 及 新 界 巴 士 服 務 的 專 營 權 。 由 獲 得專 營 權 開 始 ， 九 巴 已 奠 立 「 積 極 求 進 」 的 企 業 目 標 ， 旨 在 為 乘 客 提 供 安 全 、可 靠 、舒 適 、友 善 ，以 及 物 有 所 值 的 巴 士 服 務 。


一 九 三 三 年 四 月 十 三 日 ， 鄧 肇 堅 、 雷 瑞 德 、 雷 亮 、 譚 煥 堂 和 林 明 勳 先 生 成 立 九 龍 汽 車 ( 一 九 三 三 ) 有 限 公 司 ( 「 九 巴 」 ) ， 並 取 得 經 營 九 龍 及 新 界 巴 士 服 務 的 專 利 權 。 九 巴 在 開 辦 初 期 ， 只 擁 有 一 百 零 六 部 小 型 單 層 巴 士 的 車 隊 。 當 時 單 層 巴 士 設 頭 等 軟 座 及 二 等 硬 座 兩 級。

KMB was established in 1933 after obtaining a franchise to operate bus services in Kowloon and the New Territories. 'Pursuit of excellence' has been the corporate objective since the company's inception. KMB delivers this objective by providing safe, reliable, comfortable, friendly and value-for-money bus services.

Moving With The Times

On 13 April 1933, Mr Tang Shiu-kin, William Louey Sui Tak, Lui Leung, Tam Woon Tong and Lam Ming Fan established The Kowloon Motor Bus Company (1933) Limited (KMB), which was granted the right to operate franchised bus services in Kowloon and the New Territories. There were 106 small single deck buses in the embryonic KMB bus fleet, offering two classes of seats, namely first class (with cushion) and second class (without cushion) wooden seats.

這種具備超卓功能，方便所有乘客上落的車款，既配合巴士 服務傷健同用的精神，也是我們不斷更新，與時並進的表現。 這款英國引進的全新空調單層巴士長十米，有座位二十四個，企位二十五 個，並可容納兩名坐輪椅的乘客。在輪椅區域內更設有五張手拉式座椅，在 沒有輪椅乘客時可供其他乘客使用。
