(5x - 1)(5x + 1) = 0

5x - 1 = 0
5x = 1
x = 1/5 (0.2)

5x + 1 = 0
5x = -1
x = -1/5 (-0.2)

∴ x = 1/5 (0.2) , -1/5 (-0.2)

Hi it aint complicated at all , heres the trick anything that goes by (a+b)(a-b) = 0 , solves by the rule a^2 - b^2 = 0
So in this equation
(5x)^2 - 1^2 = 0
25x^2 = 1
x^2 = 1/25
x = 1/5
and ^ = means to the power of like ^2 to the power of 2 ( squared )

equate 5x-1 to zero

5x-1=0
5x=1
x=1/5.

5x+1=0
5x= -1
x= -1/5

when you multiply two numbers, and get zero, then one (or both) of the numbers are zero themselves:

5 * 0 = 0, or 0 * 234 = 0

so, since (5x-1)(5x+1)=0 we know that either (5x-1) = 0, or else (5x + 1) = 0

those are easier to solve:

5x - 1 = 0 is
5x = 1 is
x = 1/5

or
5x + 1 = 0 is
5x = -1 is
x = -1/5

so, x is either 1/5, or it is -1/5
