「飄忽」最簡單的英文應是「uncertain」了。
"Johny is 'a restless horse', tomorrow he'll be far away", 你聽過這歌詞嗎？
在這裡， 'a restless horse' 也可解作「飄忽」的。

我的意見是：如果你要詮譯這個詞，應用普通話或廣東話分別說出這個詞的讀法，然後提供英語的 equivalence ,才是最清楚的。
