✔ 最佳答案
a = 132°
b = 5x
c = x

a + b + c = 180°
132° + 5x + x = 180°
6x = 180° - 132° = 48°
x = 48° / 6 = 8°

So the three angles are:
a = 132°
b = 5x = 5(8°) = 40°
c = x = 8°

Let x = the measurement of the third angle
Then 5x = the measurement of the second angle
180 is the sum of the first, second, and third angles
Expressed mathematically,
180 = 132 + 5x +x
48 = 6x
8 = x

So the third angle is 8 degrees (x) and the second is 40 degrees (5x).

180 - 132 = 48
48/6 = 8
second angle = 5 x 8 = 40 degrees
third angle = 8 degrees
and the first angle you already know is 132 degrees
2008-03-07 2:55 pm
132° + 5x + x = 180°
6x = 180° - 132°
x = 48/6
x = 8° (the third angle)

5x
= 5 x 8
= 40° (the second angle)

the first angle is: 132°
the second angle is: 40°
the third angle is: 8°

Let A,B and C represent the three angles

A + B + C = 180 degrees

Let A = the given angle 132 degrees

Express the second angle B in terms of the third angle C
B = 5 x C = 5C

Subs:
A + B + C = 180 degrees
132 + 5C + C = 180

combine like terms:
132 + 6C = 180

Solve for C
(-132) + 132 +6C = (-132) + 180

6C = 48

(1/6) (6C) = (1/6) 48

C = 8

B = 5C = 40

check 8 + 40 + 132 = 180

hope this helped

It is not only for right angle but in every triangle sum of three angles is 180°
Let one angle be a = 132°
another angle b = x
ans so third angle c = 5 x

a + b + c = 180°
132° + x + 5x = 180°
6x = 180° - 132° = 48°
x = 48° / 6 = 8°

So the three angles are:
a = 132°
b = x = 8°
c = 5 x = 40°

Let
First angle = A
second angle = B
third angle = C
We know
A + B + C = 180
Given
A = 132
B = 5 * C
Put these two equations in the first equation we get
132 + (5C) + C = 180
132 + 6C = 180
132 - 132 + 6C = 180 - 132
0 + 6C = 48
6C / 6 = 48 / 6
C = 8
Put this result in first equation
132 + B + 8 = 180
132 - 132 + B + 8 - 8 = 180 - 132 - 8
0 + B + 0 = 48 - 8
B = 40
Therefor the three angles are
132 , 40 , 8
To check
A + B + C = 180
132 + 40 + 8 = 180
172 + 8 = 180
180 = 180
The answer is correct

The 3 angles are 132, 40 and 8. Now let me show you how I got that.
First just create a simple equation with the three angles that add up to 180. You don't know two of the angles but you do know that one is five times the other so the equation looks like
132 + x + 5x = 180
Now just simplify the equation, subtract 132 from 180 and add x and 5x so your equation looks like
6x = 48
Now just divided 48 by 6 and you get 8 so that means the smallest angle is 8, the angle that is five times 8 is 40, and you already know the largest angle.

find the sum of the two remaining angles i.e 180-132= 48 degrees.

Divide this value by 6 since one angle is five times more than the other which contitutes to 6 parts altogether.

The value obtained which is 8 degrees is the value of the third angle.

Thus the value of the second angle is 8*5=40 degrees.

=D

Hope that helps!

n = degree of first unknown angle.
5n = degree of second unknown angle.

180 = 132 + n + 5n
48 = 6n
n = 8

So the angles are: 8°, 40°, 132°
