"My first stop would be Tokyo, where I would take the opportunity to see the skyline, taste some delicious Japanses food and........."請問呢個句子之中,
comma後面ge verb"taste",點解唔洗轉-ing?係唔係因為comma之前果句係個clause???

這是因為,英文有同等結構省略法(ellipsis in coodination),即以and, but, or等連接詞連接的片語、子句等,假如有文法相同的字,這字第二次出現就會省略,如:I will go to London and Japan.就是I will go to London and I will go to Janpan的省略,因此示句也是省略了(to)
句子中,你應留意到末句用and帶出,所以,中間的隔開片語的comma,也可以看同and的功用。

全句可看為:
My first stop would be Tokyo, where I would take the opporturnity to see the skyline, (to) taste some delicious Janpanses food and (to)...
的taste其實是to-infinitive(不定詞),所以where...可譯做:在那裏我會找機會去看地平線、去嚐日本美食,和去...

我覺得有兩個可能性...
1. taste本身也是N
2. 因為前面有comma, 所以後面的句子是新的一句.

我覺得2 的機會大很多
