using
b-bracket
o-of
d-div
m-mult
a-add
s-subt
first you must multiply
thus,

1+2 x 2= 1+4=5

1 + 2 x 2
= 1 + 4
= 5

It's 5 due to order of operations

Use "PEDMAS" to help you

Parenthesis
Exponents
Divide
Multiply
Add
Subtract

2 times 2 = 4 plus 1 = 5

Definitely 5

Because you have to multiply first then sum the numbers

2*2=4
4+1=5

This is called order of operations. You first have to calculate the multiply and division sign, then you calculate the addition and subtraction sign. So the answer to this one is:
1+2 x 2
=1+4
=5

The reason why your other calculator has an answer of 6 is because the order that you typed in the numbers. So you'd probably did this:
1+2 x 2
=3 x 2
=6

the answer is 5 because if don't have blanket in the question then should find multiple or divide before minus and plus.

It's 5 since you have to go by the Order of Operations.
(P)arentheses, (E)xponent, (M)ultiplication, (D)ivision, (A)ddition, (S)ubtraction

2 x 2 = 4
1 + 4 = 5

Answer is 5.
1+2x2= 1+4=5
