一般來說，考評局都會要求大家讀一本莎翁既drama,一本小說名著,以及touch with fire既poetry，所讀既DRAMA及小說都必須要係原著,考評局既指引都話[The texts used should be complete and not ‘abridged’, ‘shortened’, or ‘simplified’.]所以呢，大家唔好諗住淨係睇故仔書咁簡單，係 要 睇 原 著 背 古 文 架

CE試卷分3part,
Section A prose 34%,
Section B: Poetry(seen22%)(unseen11%)
Section C drama(33%)

Section A同 C都只係會俾2條題目你揀,揀一條黎寫一篇ESSAY黎寫,唔同其他科目,ENG LIT既ESSAY….通常都係問你入面既寫作手法,比較人物題,又或者設身你係主角你會點之類。

寫唔到3版F4紙(免隔行)一條都可以同呢科講BYE BYE,因為一定會FAIL,所以筆者基本上都唔多勸大家讀,除非你真係好有興趣﹑英文好好。當然，ESSAY長度可以操番黎既….

至於SECTIONB呢,SEEN POEM都係要寫ESSAY,通常都係COMPARE兩篇POEM 既分別,寫作手法之類,ESSAY長度大概3條1版,UNSEEN既,通常都係問LQ,由於係UNSEEN POEM既關係..每年呢PART都死唔少學生的說……..
