Creating more competitors
Due to the significant decrease of cost, globalisation means to attract investment from more multi-nations in Hong Kong, setting up more retail outlets and selling points. For the case of Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC), more competitors are indirectly introduced to its market. As most of these competitors are multi-nationals, their operations and management are assumed to have reached a certain level. Therefore, KFC has to prepare well for these multi-nationals, formulating a series of proposals to increase its own technical and management standard, so as not to be eliminated by those many competitors in its market.
