The reunification of Germany and Italy had made impacts like
(1) the competition for overseas colonies and armaments because they need colonies for the excess products and resources toghther with weapons to protect themselves.
(2) The setting up of the military alliances (Triple Alliance and triple Entente)because germany afraid that France would take revenge for the Franco-Prussian War . The setting up of military alliances would only turn a local war into a world war,also this only created tension and distrust between the powers. And the powers thought that using forces to solve is sutible.The biggest conflict is the Sarajevo Assassination and the conflict between austria-Hungary and Serbia had caused the alliance members to join in and this is the immidiate cause of the First World War.
