Windows Media Player not working in several browsers?

I use Opera mainly, and Windows Media Player was fine until a few days ago. I was on eSnips trying to play a song, but when i pressed play (the triangle), it held for a few seconds and then it showed the play button again. No music played. So I tried Mozilla Firefox - same thing happened. Finally, I tried with Internet Explorer, and it was fine. Windows Media Player is fine offline, if it helps.

Try uninstalling WMP and reinstalling and see if that helps.

Thats because you might not have a genuine copy of Windows installed. I take it that you have not done any Windows updates lately. When you go to download updates, it will verify your copy of windows.

well windows player is of same comp of internet explorer, uninstall it and reinstall it again maybe it helps, or insert windows** cd and boot for missing files, you could have deleted some files without noticing
