Element.
Charge
(Group)
Group 1,2,3 是正極
Group 5,6,7 是負極
Group 4
(Noble Gas)

an atom consists of a nucleus surrounded by electrons.

electron is negatively charged.

an atom is electrically neutral. when electron is added to the atom,

it becomes a negative ion. when electron is lost from an atom,

it becomes a positive ion.

since both ion and electron are charged, they can conduct electricity.

you say the reason for conducting electricity is because of the presence of

ion but not the electron. i think you are wrong.

both ions and electrons can be the reason for conducting electricity.

eg, in molten potassium chloride , potassium ion and chloride ion account

for the electrical conductivity.

on the other hand, for the conduction of electricity in metal wire, it is

the mobile electrons that account for the electrical conductivity.

talking about the periodic table, i think you only need to remember about

20 elements. right? i think it is not difficult to do so. add oil
