Find a key (or buy one if you don't have one) for Windows XP.
Backup your existing data.
Insert the Windows XP CD into the drive, and set your default boot drive to be your CD-ROM drive (see source for more details).
Boot up your computer, and when a blue and white screen arrives, follow the prompts, deleting your Vista partition when asked.

I recommend using Spybot Search&Destroy to remove most Spyware/Adware programs. I also us Lavasoft's Ad-Aware. Together, you can remove almost all malware.
