This is a tricky one, your best bet is to go and see a solicitor, 18 months is classed as a short marriage so you will get out what you have put in if you can prove you have been paying towards the mortgage etc,.
They will not make her sell becuse she has children living with her.
But i think you will be entitled to something.
Good luck sorry i could not be more help.

tricky 1 mate !!
maybe if you can prove in the way of pay slips, bank statements, and reciepts for all you`v payed out a good solicitor may be able 2 get you a few grand.
but without all that i dought you`d get anything.
as soon as you started payin the morgage you should of told her
you would only do so if your name went on the deeds but its abit late now..
good luck

I think you will find that your not entitled to much, shes been very coy in the fact that shes kept the house in her name, it looks like you will walk away being liable for the joint debt as well, or you could do as my ex did leave her with the lot and let her get on with it.

don't leave the house or you'll never get anything. go to see a lawyer. you should get back what you paid.

The house really is hers however, if you both have names on a loan for the house, she may be forced to buy you out or sell the house. You maybe able to recoop some of the money you put into the house too. 4 kids ??? Man o man...what were you thinking? Next time, take your time and go for someone that does not have all those kids! She saw you coming...........and took full advantage of you.

You need to speak with an attorney who is familiar with the laws in your state.
