Is there anyway i can get the matchmaker to come on my tamagotchi if its 10, or is it too late now?

My v4 tamagotchi is 10 years old and will be 11 tomorrow. Every one says that the match maker was supposed to come when i was 7 or so. Well i play with my tama. often so if the matchmaker came, i most likely would have saw her. Im thinking that maybe she just never came or possibly i missed her. Any help?

to sum it up...here are my questions:
-is it possible for the matchmaker to NOT come?
-is there anyway i can get her to come?
-am i too old for her to come to?
-besides connecting with another tamagotchi, is the m.m. the only way i can start a new generation?
-any codes/hints to make the m.m. come?
(m.m. = matchmaker)

if you can answer at least one of these questions, it would help me A TON!
