Can somebody please help me with my tamagotchi v5 im on my 2nd gen and im clueless about what to do with it.?

ive had my tamaogtchi v5 for like 2 weeks im on my 2nd gen and i have no family memory im about to go on to my 3rd gen and im still clueless.

well,you can see your family on tamagotchi.com.when you enter tamagotchi.com,you will see two little red houses on the left hand corner.
