本網站成立於二千年一月, 目的是教大家如何學好英文。
英文(或其他語言)有下列四大元素:-
1) 讀(Reading)
2) 寫(Writing)
3) 說(Speaking)
4) 聽(Listening)
但是要學好英文，第一步就是要學好英文生字(Vocabulary)。學會生字越多，以上四大元素就越強。

一本牛津大字典收錄了三十多萬個生字，你是否想過(或已試過)一頁一頁去記生字，但是最後不出一星期已經放棄!!

主要原因如下:-
1) 三十多萬個生字太多了， 難以記憶。
2) 三十多萬個生字中有太多不常用的，記完都會很快忘記。
3) 只是由A-Z順序排列出來，不知如何開始。
4) 沒有恆心。

　 經過很多大學的語言系分析，常用英文生字有二至五千個。如果你對這五千個英文生字完全熟悉, 你的閱讀能力大約有70% ! 但本網站認為閱讀能力有90%或以上，才可叫做學好英文!!

要閱讀能力有90%或以上，常用英文生字有一萬二千個 (12000)。

簡單來說如果你對全部三十多萬個生字完全熟悉, 你的閱讀能力有100% !
但你只要對最常用的一萬二千個生字完全熟悉，你的閱讀能力已有90% 或以上!

如何使用英文生字分析器

History
Beowulf, an epic poem written in Old English between the 8th and the 11th centuryEnglish is an Anglo-Frisian language. Germanic-speaking peoples from northwest Germany (Saxons and Angles) and Jutland (Jutes) invaded what is now known as Eastern England around the fifth century AD. It is a matter of debate whether the Old English language spread by displacement of the original population, or the native Celts gradually adopted the language and culture of a new ruling class, or a combination of both of these processes.

Whatever their origin, these Germanic dialects eventually coalesced to a degree and formed what is today called Old English. Old English loosely resembles some coastal dialects in what are now northwest Germany and the Netherlands. Throughout the history of written Old English, it retained a synthetic structure closer to that of Proto-Indo-European, largely adopting West Saxon scribal conventions, while spoken Old English became increasingly analytic in nature, losing the more complex noun case system, relying more heavily on prepositions and fixed word order to convey meaning. This is evident in the Middle English period, when literature was to an increasing extent recorded with spoken dialectal variation intact, after written Old English lost its status as the literary language of the nobility. It has been postulated that English retains some traits from a Celtic substratum. Later, it was influenced by the related North Germanic language Old Norse, spoken by the Vikings who settled mainly in the north and the east coast down to London, the area known as the Danelaw.

首先,要學好英文不一定要好多錢,最主要的本錢,根本就放在你自己的口袋.決心-如果沒有決心,花多少錢也學不會.我指的是真正的能掌握英語,而不是為考試而硬塞進去的英語.

最重要的是你要接觸英文.你手機/電腦一定有英文菜單,為什麼不用?街上的路牌/廣告大多都中英對照,有仔細看清楚嗎?裝軟件會裝英文版嗎?碰上老外會躲在人家後面,還是走上前跟他們打招呼,說聲早晨嗎?只要仔細想一下,上面的機會多不勝數,錯過了多少?

In fact, any school or any teacher can only teach you the basis you need to know. However, the key point is whether you are willing to use it, listen to it, write it or read it or not?

No Western people will laugh at you when you make a mistake in using their language, except Chinese people. Forget about them and whatever you learnt, it belongs to you. They are all your asset.

Try those I suggested and see if you can improve your command of English? For example, you&#39;ll get used to the English menu of your mobile phones within a week or two. Nothing to afraid and in fact, you have nothing to lose.

Do something to earn yourself the confidence to use English. OK?
