背景:
本人是大專生
08年6月畢業
打算往海外升大學(最近收到northumbria的offer letter表示已取錄了我)
本人持有 - 有效的特區護照(07年5月申請的)
- 已過期的BNO(兒童,5年有效的那種,有效日期是1996年至2001年)
情況:
1)幫本人報英國大學的中介人表示,如用特區護照取得英國簽證,要支付~$16xx
2)他表示我可以續BNO,但需要~$2000
3)他說持BNO去英國讀書可免入藉申請,但特區護照則要,而申請亦要支付費用
問題:
1)持那個証件到英國升學比較好?為什麼?
2)請比較如用BNO及特區護照所涉及的所有費用!!(重要)
3)我的情況可以續BNO嗎?手續如何?又,需時多久呢?
4)請補充小弟需要注意的事項,謝!
本人對以上問題認識甚淺,極需要各位提供寶貴意見

1)幫本人報英國大學的中介人表示,如用特區護照取得英國簽證,要支付~$16xx
->there's some agency in HK they don't charge any penny or cent.
2)他表示我可以續BNO,但需要~$2000
->study in UK, no matter u using BNO or SAR are no problem, just the Student Visa fee different.
->續BNO it's not the problem, and v fast, I just have a friend apply like yr case, and get the BNO in the same day.
3)他說持BNO去英國讀書可免入藉申請,但特區護照則要,而申請亦要支付費用
->I don't understand入藉申請means here? u r apply Student Visa or what?
->if u student Master prog, then u can apply 入藉, but not until u graduated and 5 yrs later, and whatever passport u holding, even u hold China passport, same policy, so not understand what yr agency means 入藉申請

->as said, no diff, only the fee to UK gov diff, not affect the Agency. a lot of students fr HK, either holding BNO or SAR are the holding same "Student VISA"
2)請比較如用BNO及特區護照所涉及的所有費用!!(重要)

1-make sure when u apply the BNO, u bring the related doc, which listed on the sited.
2-once u get the BNO (apply AM, get it PM), pls bring yr ofer letter to apply the Student VISA, normally they will mail the passport to u around a week time

3-I think all the passport thing is easy, u can handle by yrself or if u like, of cause u can ask yr agency do it for u(as they charge u), but there's plenty agency is free and will do the same and better than charge agency

4-u need to spen more time of thinking about yr accomodation, as I 's not sure u study BA, MA or PhD, so, u like to live in Student Hall(being silly)? home stay (learn UK culture)? or by yrself (be independent and be with more real local ppl)?

no matter u holding BNO or SAR passport, u r Oversea students, BNO or SAR will NOT help u to lower the tuition fee!
