a)Let the height of pyramid be h m.(sqrt(2^2+2^2)/2)^2+h^2=(sqrt3)^2
h=1
The height of pyramid is 1m.
b)The volume remaining
=2*2*2-(1/3)(2*2)(1)
=20/3
=6.67m^2
