Tamagotchi version 5... HELP PLEASE!?

I have a tamagotchi version 5. I got it a month ago and i am wondering why forsome reason they are teenagers then turn into tiny familys. They end up being very small....? I have resetted it and started again. They are now teenagers and 'they havn't gone tiny yet, Thankfully. and when you train them their bonds percentage doesn't go up at all. It stays on zero. Please Help, Thankyou....

ok they start out eggs the kids then tenagers then adults it takes two days for it to change
