請問opportunity 及Chance意思上 有何分別?用法又有何不同?

opportunity(n.)
1. 機會;良機[C][U][(+of/for)][+to-v]

There may be an opportunity for you to see the chairman of the board tomorrow.
明天你也許有機會見到董事長。

Soon he had an opportunity of explaining that to her.
不久他便有了向她解釋那件事的機會。


Chance(n.)
1. 偶然;運氣;僥倖;意外[U]
Chance led to the finding of the diamond mine.
這座鑽石礦完全是偶然發現的。

2. 可能性,希望[C][U][(+of)][+(that)]
We have a good chance of winning the game.
我們很可能贏得這場比賽。

3. 機會,良機,際遇[C][(+of)][+to-v]
I don't get many chances to talk to her recently.
近來我不太有機會與她交談。

4. 冒險;賭博[C][(+of)]
He took a big chance when he made the investment.
當時他投資時是冒了大風險的。

chance(v.)
1. 冒...的險;賭(錢)[W][+v-ing]
Don't chance sailing in a storm.
不要冒險在風暴中航行。

1. 碰巧;偶然被發現(或找到)[W][+to-v]
I chanced to meet an old friend in the park today.
今天我在公園碰巧遇見一位老朋友。

如果兩者都係(n.)用法同意思都冇分別..
但如果兩者既part os speech唔同..咁用法同意思都有分別!
就好似上面既例子一樣

No difference in meaning, Chance is verbal word.
