the most convenient is take MTR to Shaukeiwan, then take bus no.9 at the shaukeiwan bus terminal.

If you go there on Sunday or Public holiday, then you may take bus no.309 at Central. this bus only sever on Sunday or Public holiday.

Both buses will arrive at the Sheck O bus terminal, which is just next to the Sheck O beach. There are many BBQ area for rent at the beach. Or you can walk to the edge of the beach, then you can see a free BBQ area built by the Government. (but there would be quite full on Sunday or Public Holiday, you'd better go there earlier.)
