Hi I'm studing in PCC which in los angeles, although its different place, i just wanna share with you=]
For laptop, you don't have to bring to college, its only for you to use at home or hostfamily, or in case you need to study in libary which have to use computer.
Actually, you dont have to bring such many books, all just depends on how do you organise you classes. Its very different from high school that you are choosing classes by yourself.
In US, there are no"7" or "kid" such things, if you have question, just ask!! the stupidest question is the question you don't ask.
Also they work very very slow even there are many people are lining up.....
For hair dryer or shampoo....i think you have to bring at least for the first few day when you stay in motel, coz you can buy everything here.

PS: Bring you cell phone !!! coz cell phone here is very poor...... i gotta search for a week in order to find a good cell phone, which is W510i XD"""""
