i have no idea about the equation.

but i have done the following,

for the number divided by 3 , and the remainder is 2

the number may be 5 8 11 14 17 20 23 26 29 32 35 38 41 44 47 50 53 56 59 62......

for the number divided by 4, and the remainder is 3

the number may be 7 11 15 19 23 27 31 35 39 43 47 51 55 59 63 67 .......

for the number divided by 5, and the remainder is 4

the number may be 9 14 19 24 29 34 39 44 49 54 59 64 69 ......

only the number 59 is repeated . therefore the answer is 59

如果你再加一隻雀,就可以被3,4同5整除,所以將3,4同5的LCM減1就ok了!

LCM(3,4,5)-1
=60-1
=59

問題即係問一個數加 1 後分別可被 3、4、5 整除 ，所以該數最小值是 3 個數0既LCM再減1 。要建立方程式的話，即係
= LCM(3，4，5) -1
= 3x4x5 -1
= 60 -1
