It looks like a very interesting project you guys are doing. I would share with you what young people do in Hong Kong and hope it will help you with your work.
Funny movies make us laugh. Hong Kong has a robust film industry, and comedy is one of the genres the people have special talent in. In Hong Kong, we have great comedians like Stephen Chow, Wong Jing, Michael Hui..... Stephen Chow is the creator of a style of comedy called "Mo Lei Tou", which has become known in part of the western world. Mo Lei Tou means jokes that are funny because they are clueless. For example, he may speak in a very serious manner in a totally crazy situation.
When Hong Kong teenagers want to have a good time, we hang out with our friends and do things that we all like. When we meet, we bring along our NDS or PS2 to play games together. Sometimes, we just talk to each other without playing any game. Students in Hong Kong have stressful lives because competition at school is keen. It is nice just to talk to friends to share our thoughts an ideas.
Having fun is important because it if difficult to keep on doing something if you do not find some fun in it. School is fun sometimes, when we do scientific experiments. If we do not find the fun in it, it becomes boring and we learn nothing.

Having fun is important as life without fun is boring. We can have fun in whole lots of things, not just entertainment and games. For example, it is fun to participate in volunteer activities, as we are able to meet different kinds of people. It is fun to help out in household chores as it feels so good when you find that you get the things done on your own.
