In chemical equations, (aq) always appear. What is this meaning?

For example:
2Li(s) + 2H2O → 2LiOH(aq) + H2(g)

Aqueous solution. Substance being dissolved in water and you have to obtain it by either evaporation or crystalization.

Aqueous refers to a solution in water.

A more exact definition is a solution in which the solute (the substance dissolved) initially is a liquid or a solid and the solvent is water.

LiOH(s) solute dissolve into H2O(l) to produce LiOH

Aqueous solutin also tell the concentration of the solution,aqueous solution is not saturated,because have some water molecules
