McDonald established as a kind of USA food Culture in the world. Its American taste.
McDonald's meal is cheap. Its in big volume, her shops are very clean and good shape.
McDonald's business is continue to grow in UK, China, and other developing countries,
so, its growing in international market, not in USA market. The home market (USA) is so matured.
People complain junk food (rubbish food), but, on the other hand, they like it so much.
McD had tried to provide healthy meal, but business is bad.
Currently, McD business has a profit increase because 1. they sell Coffees in their shops, and they made money on this. You can see McD has the Coffee section in some of their shops in HK too, example the McD in the Airport.
2. they run 24 hours, to cover the overhead, improve their cost efficiency.
So, my comment is : short term --stable growth.
Long term : I believe beverage will be the trends for McD to consider to add in for sales.
One interest example : Why there are no Vitasoy (Soy Milk) sales in McD ?
I think MCD will continue to grow, but slowly. as the cost of all kind of food is increase, people in the worl feel the inflation pressure, they will go to McD and other Fast Food shops.
