雖然摺紙英文直譯係 Paper Folding, 但係大多數英美人士都係用番日文嘅拼音：ORIGAMI.連美國摺紙協會都係叫做：Origami USA.

摺紙的英文係咩? many Chinese will translate it to paper folding, but the common English name is origami, because Japanese bring the skill to the west, naturally many people think it orginally from Japan and use Origami for the English name.

仲有咩野普通用語?(例如:對摺.....) It is depends on the author, most of the books/sites will have diagrams and the explainations, for example 對摺 can be fold in half, fold foward or valley fold. I think valley fold may be the Japanese term in English. The following are the names that you maybe interested in:
valley fold
mountain fold
petal fold
squash fold
rabbit ear
reverse fold
crimp
sink
