Length of side = 1 cm say
Area = L x L
Area = 1 x 1 cm²
Area = 1 cm²

Formula:
= (perimeter/4)²
= (4/4)²
= 1²
= 1

Answer: 1 square unit of measure

Proof:
Find the sides:
= 4/4
= 1

Compute the area
= 1 * 1
= 1

(4 ÷ 4)^2
= 1^2
= 1 x 1
= 1

OK, so the perimeter is 4

That means each side has length 1

And the area is 1*1 = 1 unit

okay look the perimeter is four so therefore each side is 1 so to find the area u have to times two sides right so it would be one ..

if the perimeter s 4 (4a) then the value of a=1 and so the area(a*a) = 1m2.

x+x+x+x=4 =>4x=4=>x=1
area= x*x=1*1=1

A square has 4 sides that are equal. perimeter is the total length of all sides and to figure out the area use length*width,
