美國K3 VISA...

我老公上年12月成為左citizen..之後幫我申請K3 VISA (佢拎緊green card 果陣都申請緊我..之不過當佢成為citizen果陣再同我轉身份)....呢幾日我老公話佢好耐之前寫左張支票比申請我果個部門..呢2日過左數.(呢張支票12月果陣比)..係咪即係代表佢呢家先開始幫我地幫攪個K-3...我想問有無人申請過?...之後又會有咩程序.!要幾耐!唔該詳細解答!!

Hi, your K3 application will be cancelled after they received your cheque of I-130 (The form of US citizen petition relatives). You said they received your money recently, that means they are working on ur application. The time for the processing, it really depends on them. For my cousin, she spent 6 months in HK (her husband is US citizen). For myself, my husband is US citizen and I used my US traveling visa entering USA and then applied my green-card in USA, I had to submit I-130 and I-485, I totally spent 1 yr. To be honest, the time is really depended on the place where you apply. Good luck and hope can see you in USA soon!

K3 is the short cut to come to USA for the couple which one of them is in USA with green card,
as your husband already an US citizen, he should file the i-130 and i-485 instead and you can come here less than a year .
ps. the payment u pay for the K3 visa is wasted, US CIS will not refund or cedit you.
