For Writing:
I recommend you to write a journal for each day. If you cannot do it for everyday, at least you write five times a week. From writing it frequently, you will be more comfortable in writing format English.
In the beginning of the practice, you would write anything you want, but afterward, you should use the past paper's topics. Be sure to count the time, too. As no matter how well you wrote, if you don't have enough time to complete it. It is still a piece of crap.
How people grade your essay?
1) Is it out of topic. (If your essay is out of topic, it will be automatically [F])
2) can you express yourselves well in writing. (Will people able to understand what you are saying)
3) grammar
4) high level of vocabularies (which means you need to increase you vocabularies. For example, learn a new vocabulary for each week. {That's not much, you should be able to do it})
For reading and comprehension:
Doing the past paper. If you finished all of them, then start reading the newspaper cause all the articles are from it.
For listening:
Watching more English TV programs or radio.
For oral:
Find more chances to talk in English. If you don't have a partner to talk with, you can even talk to yourselves in a mirror because it will help you to speak fluently.
Don't think all this stuffs are stupid because you still have a year to go. And if you really pay efforts to do so, I'm sure success will not be far from you.
It is all depends on you. If you really want to just get a pass grade, I suggest you to put [D] as your goal. Usually it will be one grade lower than what you expected.
Anyway, ADD OIL and don't give up!!!! (remember to do past-paper) There will be always someone worse than you. (think positively :-) )
