The total volume of the material of a bottle and the mixture of water and alchol inside is 2500cm3.15%is the volume of the material , and 68%of the mixture os alchol . Find the volume of the water.
If each side of a cube decreaseby 10%,find the percentage decrease if its volume.
[Hint:Let each side of the original cube be xcm long.]

New Volume:
[X * ( 1-0.1)]^3
= 0.729X^3
Precentage decreased:
(1-0.729)*X^3 / X^3 *100%
=0.271 * 100%
=27.1%
