why do my muscles get so sore after workout?

I feel pain right now... some people actually told me that it's good thing because in order muscles to expand, they have to be ripped or something and because the muscles are ripped, i feel pain. is that a valid statement?

This is called Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness, or DOMS.
DOMS is caused by tiny microscopic tears that occur in the muscle as a result of high intensity exercise (such as weight training, intense cycling, etc). After the workout, the muscle begins to rebuild itself (provided it is allowed enough time and nutrients to recover). This is the rebuilding process which creates new muscle that is bigger and stronger than before. Your muscles grow when you are at rest - not when you're at the gym. That is why you need a day or two between working the same muscles.

It's actually bad to rip your muscles. It takes longer for them to heal and actually build up. I would exercise but in moderation. Do an individual muscle group for just one day. Like arms Monday, Tuesday legs, Wednesday chest, and so on. Also make sure to eat bananas and lots of protein it helps your muscles heal. But no it's not good to rip and tear muscles. It only takes longer to heal and prohibits more growth and it's not good in the long run. Also stretch before you work out.
If you feel a burning sensation that's most likely lactic acid build up that is produced by your muscles.

That is a valid statement. Working out causes micro tears in muscle fibers. Your body will repair and rebuild your torn muscle fibers makiing them bigger and stronger. Moreover, lactic acid accumulates in your muscles as a result of the incomplete breakdown of glycogen to produce energy. This adds to the soreness following a workout.

yea u shud feel pain....i do legs and upper body every other day and when i do squats i feel them for like 3 days i still feel the legs after 3 days today and yea u shud feel the pain but make sure u get enough protein so u get the muscles repaired

Feeling pain is a good thing as long as you can tell it's not like a tendon tear, but the reason you feel pain is because when you work out you are actually damaging the muscles. You may be saying oh this guy has no clue what he's talking about, but after you damage your muscles you are actually making them stronger after they heal.

You have to stretch before and after. Make sure you do because a warm up and a cool down are necessary to have a good work out another day. Don't try to do too much at first and maybe your body system isn't used to it. It takes a week or two to just get used to do doing exercises, so you don't feel that soreness anymore.
