Why don't men wear make-up?

there are a few possible reasons (not taking into account the fact that foundation and other basic products are becoming more popular for men). women wear makeup to soften and enhance aspects of us that make us feminine, this is to help us appeal to men. Men would have to wear makeup to make them look more masculine, which isn't really applicable, looking masculine equates to not wearing makeup and being "natural". Also visually men are initally attracted by the few emphasized "feminine" traits where as women are initally attracted by traits that make a man look healthy (good physique, etc.) overall. Historically men used to wear makeup to make themselves look more "genteel" and distinguished, putting them higher up on the social scale, but that trend is gone. Personally I think a little eye makeup on a guy is a good thing, and there's nothing wrong with men wanting to cover blemishes with foundation just as much as women do.

Some men wear make-up. There was this boy in my school (when I was in elementary school) who used to dress up as a girl and wear make-up. One halloween, he dressed up as Barbie.

Women wear make up to soften their face and make it look more feminine. Men don't need to do this. In our culture, a more rough looking face on a man is desirable.

some should wear bags over their heads let alone make up....

men have worn make up before women for centuries...but in the age of "macho" they stopped, now with the onset of a new era and the emergence of "Emo" culture maybe things will change back again.

They do, and not only the ones on TV. You just don't hear about it as much. I worked with an attorney who wore not only concealer for the under carriage, but pale pink tinted lip balm and light blush. He is straight, just very vain.

Men in acting wear it.

Some men need some foundation, but they shouldn't wear it.

Because dont wear make-up of them are feel they are male or just clean the body and dont want to make more beauty. Feeling make beauty is female does.

Actors wear make-up. We don't wear make-up because we're the ones looking for girls and when we show off (when we do) we show what is natural to us.

Because we don't need it to attract girls, and we are too lazy to take the time or spend the money on that. Men are too busy playing with our toys, exploring our world, and competing about capabilities, so we don't have an interest in competing to be cute or pretty. Besides, I think most of us would feel very gay with make-up on, and except for those who really are gay, that would be a very bad feeling.
