很耐之前~~~有一個很有錢的富商,他有3個兒子,大兒子叫David ,第二兒子叫Tom, 而第三兒子叫Jay. David 不喜歡讀書,每天會用盡各種方法去花錢,而身邊有很多對他錢很有興趣的朋友~ tom 就剛好相反,很喜歡讀書,但身邊幾乎沒有朋友,他每天只埋頭在讀書,甚至身邊的一切都不理會,都有傭人幫他處理. 而jay也很 喜歡讀書,但同時他有很多興趣,雖然他的成績比不上tom. 但他很喜歡參加不同的活動,因此他培養了不少不同的才能,更結交了許多朋友.而且他還會常常去幫助做義工 後來,這個富商因急病去逝了,他的財產平均分配了給他的三個兒子. david 每天不停地花錢,不到半年,他已經把所有錢用完,而他的朋友也同時離他而去~
由於tom因為沒有傭人,便剩下自己一人留在屋里,不到一星期,他被人發現暈倒在家中,因為他每天只會讀書,而其他一切事情都不會處理,甚至連吃喝也要人提醒.
jay 就找到一份工作,一有空閒便會與朋友一起做義工,甚至他還把他父親留下的財產的4分一捐了給有需要的人. 後來,因為他擁有不同的經驗以及他的努力,他找到了一份很好的工作.
