I found this sentence from yahoo dictionary :

" I'll be here first thing in the morning" , means that " 我一早就來這裡"
我一早就來這裡,其間她可休息一會兒。
"first thing" is mean " 第一件事" , so is like " 我一早第一件事就來這裡"
