勞力士 證書

I have just bought a new rolex at a jewellry shop (not official HK retailer). serial# Mxxxxxx = late 2007 watch.
but there is no traditional paper rolex certificate. I was told by the sales that rolex has changed all the certificate from paper version to a card version.
can someone tell me more about the new certificate of rolex? is that true that rolex stop issuing paper certificate and use card certificate instead? Would there be any chip inside the new certificate card?
