Hi I may be able to help. I am a senior student at Washington State University in the US, majoring in Interior Design. I am also working in a design studio for a while as an intern. Most of the customers we have usually install incandescent lighting fixture instead of fluroscent lighting fixture. The reason is that incandescent light gives a warmer tone to the room. Fluoscent lighting is usully being used in office because you will save some money from your monthly electricity bill, other than that, I suggest you to use incandescent lighting fixture instead. However, if you really like fluroscent light, you can still have fluroscent light in a different light bulbs, maybe not a tube-shaped light bulb, but something else.
