Sounds like the precursor warning signs of arterial blockage and/or heart disease. It could be your thyroid throwing off your hormonal balance, but I wouldn't think it'd be the soul cause of the heart palapatations.
The heart inefficiently pumps blood, therefore making the heart work doubly hard to be efficient, and pump blood to the necessary areas of your body.
When the heart can not do this, it's usually caused by a blockage, murmer, or under-developed artery/valve/muscle.
My suggestion would be to take the warning signs, and no matter if you have insurance or not, go to the ER, or at the very least, make an appt with your physician.
I know you're worried about how you're going to pay for this b/c of no insurance, but rest assured, you don't want to leave your two babies with someone else if you're dead, right? Do you have a will? Have you thought about who gets the kids if you die?? These are things you've got to think about, and I'd much rather have a huge doctor bill, than a huge funeral bill. Know what I mean?? You can always just pay $10 / month toward the doc bill, and they can't say a word to you about not paying.
I by no means am meaning to sound like I'm trying to scare you. This is simply my way of trying to warn you to take this seriously. My Grandmother died at 57 of congestive heart failure, and us single Mama's gotta stick together, right? ;-)
Good luck!
