係本書入面講過::
係monocotyledonous plants, the glucose molecules 會dissolve 之後transport 去其他parts,咁姐係話 iodine test 唔可以test 到佢有photosynthesis 過?同埋點解佢唔同dicotyledonous plants 一樣將glucose 轉做starch 再轉做sucrose 既??

最後既問題係,點解dicotyledonous plants要將starch轉做sucrose 唔轉番做glucose??

好似好多問題,希望大家肯答晒d 問題喇>

你要搞清楚, iodine test係test the presence of starch NOT glucose!!
所以iodine test係test到monocotyledonous plants有carry out photosynthesis~

dicotyledonous plants convert starch into sucrose係 for transportation, i.e. the transportation of sugars in phloem is in form of sucrose NOT glucose
所以部分starch is converted into sucrose but not all starch are converted into sucrose!!
starch係會convert番做glucose o既 when energy is required~
starch acts as food storage and it will be converted into other forms
