yep.

I usually hang on to things for a while, usually years... then when I'm clearing out the garage I make a pile of things ready for regifting... seriously, I also only take a few baths a year and often get lots of bath and body works salts and bubble baths and bath oils - I keep the lotions and body wash, I use those in the shower - but the rest are just a waste! Also house items... I used to be a preschool teacher and often I'd get decorative plates and vases and figurines - TOTALLY not my style to put things like that in my home! These people never came to my house, I was their kids' teacher! So I'd regift that stuff right away :) funny how most of the stuff was just up my mother's style - lucky me!

I think when regifting you just need to be careful, don't get an ugly sweater from your aunt and give it back to her w/ tags on it still 2 years later!

Yup.

But seriously I take a bath about once a year and my in-laws keep getting me bath stuff (bubble bath, bath salts, etc, etc) . And I am NOT a medium.

Usually I give it to my sister and 4/5 times I tell her ;-)

Never - but I don't blame anyone who does.

Sometimes, your invited to parties where you hardly know the people and they expect gifts.

Are we talking about that fruitcake I sent you?

» Yes. It`s the thought that counts. I re-gift because I honestly think that person would have more use for it than me. Also, I never re-gift items that have been used, worn, ect.

One year the "theme" to our family Christmas party was re-gifting. I was really good at it.

yes but its okay if you never used the item and you know the person you're giving it too will really appreciate it
