Sol:
x is an angle of an arc at the centre
therefore,
0° ＜ x ＜ 360°
0° ＜ x/2 ＜ 180°
hence,
x/2 possibly lie at the 1st or 2nd quadrants
Ans: 1st or 2nd quadrants
