Why cant biological powders for washing silk and woollens?

Sorry I didnt type the question properly =P
The question is: WHY ARENT BIOLOGICAL WASHING POWDERS RECOMMENDED FOR WASHING SILKS AND WOOLLENS?

Yeh... Actually I had read the following:

Well, it only mentioned PROTEASE, but what I really want to ask is about BIOLOGICAL POWDER. Also, is AMYLASE and LIPASE INVOLVED IN THE WASHING PROCESS?

Biological washing power might contain lipase for digesting (removing) oil stains on garment. It works similar to that of the "protease digests protein stains" mechanism. but this one is "lipase digests lipid stains such as grease/oil on clothes"

For amylase, I think biological washing power do not contain this ingredient. Since amylase is used to digest polysaccharides starch. and starch can easily be hydrolysed/broken down by water(warm/hot water). It would not be really helpful in removing the stain as water itself can remove.
